The Mixing Guide

Every shade, by the drop

Ten reds and golds built from two pigments, seven purples built from a few drops of Blue Toner. This is the exact recipe our colourists follow — minimum hair level included, so you know when a shade needs bleaching first.

How To Choose

Match your shade to your undertone, not just the swatch.

Warm undertones lean into Copper, Auburn and Golden Copper. Cool undertones carry Wine Red, Violet and Berry Plum best. Neutral undertones can wear almost anything on this card — Cherry Red and Plum are our two easiest first-timer shades.

  • First time colouring? Start with Cherry Red or Mahogany — both sit close to natural dark bases.
  • Coming from bleach or highlights? Copper and Golden Copper deposit fastest and most evenly.
  • Want maximum impact? Magenta Purple and Violet need lightened hair for true saturation.
